Your Pal Bill

Filling in the Blanks

I have been neglectful of my site since returning from Britain, I don't offer any apologies as I pretty much don't care at this point if it gets updated every day. I think my interest in this ebbs and flows, and we're on an ebb right now for sure. I was telling Kristin the other day, I really do this for my future self, particularly the travel stuff. It can be pretty dense but I intend for it to be my record of what I did, and I just happen to be sharing it all with y'all.

So anyway, what else have I been up to these past few months? Recently I stopped procrastinating and finally decided to join the Y. I haven't really made it a routine yet but hopefully the fact that I'm paying money for it will be a motivating factor. Just a few trips make it clear that my fitness level could use improvement- something I know on a conscious level, but have trouble with deeper down. I was active and skinny growing up, and I feel like I still am sometimes, even though I'm mostly sedentary and fat. It's good because I'm not too hung up on my weight, but bad because I get complacent when I think I'm okay when I'm not.

I also decided to join the 20th century and got a new toy- a cell phone. My dad got a deal with his company and was able to add lines on the cheap. The monthly fees were my biggest barrier to entry, so I have decided to try it out. If you want the number let me know. The best part is you can message me using any letter of the alphabet!

I wish that you didn't have to deal with comment spammers, and have to close old comments, because I totally wanted to comment on the Big Boi or Andre 3000 post (November 2003!). I've been really drinking in Speakerboxx/The Love Below this evening, and I really love them both.
