February 2004
29: Happy Leap Day!
I love leap day! I always thought it would be fun to have my birthday on February 29th.
26: You Know You're in Tillamook When...
Uh, I don't have any cows.
23: Re-Nesting
Apparently, it is becoming quite a trend for young college graduates to go back and live with their parents. One factoid I thought was interesting was that 63% of recent college graduates are moving back home! I wonder if this portends a return to multi-generational families living together again?
21: Random Stuff
Random stuff: social networking sites, short (but distant) vacations, and do-it-yourself film festivals.
18: Car: Year Two Reductions
I have been successful in reducing my mileage driven this year by a quarter over last year.
15: Downtown Lake Oswego
I had the opportunity earlier today to take a walk around downtown Lake Oswego. The city has really put a lot of work into making it a nice destination.
11: Two Years
Today is the two-year anniversary of my first day of work! Perhaps it is cliche, but I can't believe it's been that long! Two years in Tillamook? Wow.
09: Nothing Like It in the World
I finished up Nothing Like It in the World a few days ago. It was very interesting to see what went on in the backrooms of then-corporate America to get the Transcontinental Railroad built.
08: The Butterfly Effect
At this time of night, there aren't a ton of movie choices. I settled on a 10:35 showing of The Butterfly Effect. Frankly, I was worried about the Ashton Kutcher Effect.
04: Restlessness
I have been feeling restless the last few days, I guess after recovering from my trip.
