26: Snow Crash

In a fit of readfulness, I finished another book today- Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. Stephenson ties technology, ancient history, lingusitics, and a vision of a future dominated by powerful corporate entities together to make a fascinating read.

09: Elf

08: The Shipping News

This last week I finished The Shipping News. I enjoyed the book, it was written in a unique style with a lot of fragmented sentences. Although I've never been to any of the maritime provinces, the book described the place physically and socially- and how the two are connected to each other.

01: Hallowe'en

Last year I got away with not dressing up, what with being across the continent and all. However, this year I had to get a get up together. I decided to go as a tourist.
