Travel updates

I'm still excited about traveling, especially after finding a huge internet forum where there are people who talk about all sorts of crazy flying and travel-related things. There are people who fly crazy itineraries just to get miles for cheap, and is a haunt of the "pudding guy," who was an inspiration for the Adam Sandler character in Punch Drunk Love. Reading this site makes me want to collect airline miles. LOTS of them.

So I was thinking about going to Florida in January, but I don't really feel up to it. I'd rather run over to jolly olde England to see Trevor. And have a spot of tea. But only a spot.

A fellow whose weblog I frequent (along with everyone else) is just visiting his 47th state. Alas, he just turned thirty a ways back, so he can't meet my goal. But 46 states in 30 years is pretty good.
