Local Film

Earlier this evening I made a last-minute decision to go see a local film I had read about on a blog I frequent. The genre didn't really appeal to me, but the Tribune article made the cinematography of the all-oregon locations sound just super. So I ran downtown real quick and discovered the Whitsell Auditorium in the original Belluchi Art Museum building- my first time inside!. Like I said, I'm not so much into the whole medieval thing, so I guess the whole story didn't really do it for me, but the Trib was right- the locations were awesome, the cinematography superb, particluarly considering that it was a tiny-budget film. I was glad I went. I think it is important to support the local arts, and film is definitely one medium I can get into.
