Back in Oregon
I made it back yesterday after like 14 hours or something ridiculous like that. The EMI people say to not schedule any flight until after 1:30 pm, but then they deliver you to the airport at 10:15 in the morning! So I had to wait around the airport for four hours. And I had one of the earliest flights out of all the people leaving! Ok, enough whining. I enjoyed the trip but I am happy to be back. As long as I don't think about work on Monday, that is.
I made it back to Beaverton thanks to TriMet and Trevor, who skipped out a bit early from his thing to pick me up from Sunset TC. That ride made six different rail systems I rode during the trip:
- Houston Airport TerminaLink
- Baltimore Light Rail
- Philadelphia Market-Frankford
- Philadelphia Subway-Surface
- Washington Metro
- Portland MAX

It is true. I am looking forward to riding the Montreal Metro! It is rubber-tired! McGill is on the Green (or "Vert" as they might say) line! :)
