Your Pal Bill

Sunshine in Maryland

Following several consecutive days with snowfall, it was in the 70's today. Go figure.

Anyway, class today was more fun floodplain management stuff. This evening, I took a tour of the neighboring Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton. She was the first American-born saint canonized by the church. The basilica itself was marvelous. Much of the art is in beautiful, intricate mosaics. After that, we went through the museum, describing St. Elizabeth Ann's life and accomplishments. We even watched a video (with Kate Mulgrew starring as Elizabeth Ann Seton).
