30: So Far, So Good
So that security I was so worried about? Yeah... it was tight, but nobody else was at the airport, so it took about 10 minutes to check my bags, get through security, and get to my gate to sit around for an hour.
28: Going Away
I'm leaving early tommorrow- in a matter of hours, in fact- for Maryland. I'm going to get training for flooding stuff. It isn't my favorite subject, but I'm looking forward to learning more about it.
26: It's a Boy!
My pal Brice and his wife Julee have had a baby: Alexander Arthur Emery LaFrance!
25: New Computer
I finally recieved my long-promised new computer at work. My old computer was such a dog, and now I have one of the best machines in the building. It is set up so I can work on a lot of map data, but so far I've just been growing into it, getting the settings right, adding the little necessary apps, etc.

After attending the Taste of Tillamook on Saturday afternoon, I kicked it into town for a little while.

Today I walked over to the fairgrounds to check out the first annual Taste of Tillamook County.
12: &*%$*! Spammers
I hate spam and those who would send it off to us. Hate is a strong word, but I feel that it is justified after the most recent barrage. This spam wasn't sent to me directly, but whoever sent it out to many, many AOL subscribers decided that putting return e-mail addresses with one of my domains would really help them sell more software to find those long, lost people.

I just poked around the coast this weekend. Kind of relaxing, in a boring way!
