Ash Wednesday

Happy Ash Wednesday, everybody! Well, maybe not "happy," but you know what I mean. Ah, the beginning of the lenten season! A time of contemplative fasting, bookended by times of fabulous excess. This year, I've decided to give up drinking pop. I've been drinking way too much of it lately, practically every day. This fast isn't without precedent- I didn't drink pop during the summer of 1997. So water & juice, here I come!
