Old School

On Friday night I went with Trevor to see Old School. As dumb comedies go, it was definitely okay. Sure, it was a recycled plot (Students establish campus party house, dean hates party house, dean shuts down party house, students jump through dean's hoops to get house back, fail due to technicality, dean gets his comeuppance, students win. yay) and sure some of the comedy was boorish, but it really could have been much worse. Luke Wilson was the lead, and Will Farell the clown, but I found the Vince Vaughn character most interesting.

On Saturday, Stacy, Trevor and I went up to NW Portland to poke around on 23rd Avenue. We had dinner at Hungry Dog Burrito (I keep wanting to call it Wet Dog, but that's in Astoria!) and went to Cinema 21 for Spike & Mike's Sick & Twisted Festival of Animation. I found that there were far fewer repeats than in years past. yay!
