Ok, so, big news! Today

Ok, so, big news! Today I accepted a position as an Assistant Planner with Tillamook County! I am very excited about it. I start a week from today. In the meantime, I have to find some place to live, buy a car, pack & move, and all the other stuff that I'm forgetting. I am pleased to have found gainful employment. The planning department there is small, so hopefully I will have a chance to work on a range of things. It will be an adjustment moving out there, but I'm not so far away that a spur of the moment weekend trip to Portland is out of the question. I'm sure I'll have more to talk about in the coming weeks and months.

In other business, at the beginning of January I put a little thing on this page to count the hits to the home page, since my web host's log software leaves some things to be desired. Here's some facts for January:

   250 total hits
   50 hits were from my computer
   81 hits were from search robots

So, 119 "real" hits on the home page. Of these, I seem to have 9 somewhat regular readers, from what I can interpret. I am pleased. I also list for your enjoyment the searches that brought people here:
